Cascading Style Sheets for accessible, tableless layouts
We have been using style sheets for years to manage font sizes, colors and link styles, but now with IE7, Mozilla's Firefox and the popularity of Apple's Safari, the use and cross compatibility of Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) is prevalent in most of today's browsers. Now the use of style sheets to manage layout, and major structural and navigational elements is becoming the wave of the future. When the browser caches the CSS of a site, it makes navigation through the site easy and quick, with only inline images and the text the new elements requiring to be downloaded from the server. This new CSS coding separates the code from the content enabling the content to rise to the surface making it easier to download, easier for people with disabilities and for the largest blind user on the web - the search engines to discern the content of the respective site.
